AECOM is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Cost Estimator in its transportation business, listed in Jeddah; the posting itself places the role in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The estimator will produce detailed cost estimates and budgets using standard estimating practice and cost management software, analyse project costs, identify variances and act to keep work within budget. Applicants need an engineering degree and at least ten years in cost engineering, commercial management or project cost management, with experience of design and construction projects for urban infrastructure. AECOM asks for advanced knowledge of cost management software such as Primavera or SAP, strong variance analysis and reporting skills and, as preferences, a professional cost engineering certification and familiarity with Saudi or wider Middle East business practice. English is required and Arabic is an advantage. The role is on site.
