Linesight, the project and cost management consultancy, is recruiting a senior planner in Munich for its pharmaceutical sector work. The advert is for one opening and the position type is given as permanent and full time. The planning described is programme ownership rather than progress reporting: building detailed end to end schedules by critical path method across the full project scope, milestones and timelines, applying a work breakdown structure to fix roles, responsibilities and deliverables, and aligning the schedule with the project execution plan and with the contracting, procurement and control strategies. The successful candidate sets a method for baselining the schedule and manages the updates against it, keeps one integrated programme readable at several levels of detail, and leads meetings with clients and suppliers on timelines, progress and dependencies. The advert asks for negotiation and resolution of schedule conflicts between disciplines and between parties, regular progress reporting that identifies variances, risks and mitigation, and review of supplier and third party programmes. Linesight asks for extensive experience of construction planning, Primavera P6, demonstrable quantitative risk assessment experience including the ability to explain findings to stakeholders, and a degree or equivalent experience in project management, construction or engineering. Working knowledge of earned value management is required on some projects, as is experience of the commissioning, qualification and validation process. Interviews are held in person or by video.
