What the role covers

Qiddiya is recruiting a Senior Manager, based in Riyadh, to support cost-planning work within its business units, development projects and governance activities. The role coordinates cost-planning activities for assigned projects and programmes, reviews cost consultant outputs and maintains current cost-planning records. It supports Stage Gate reviews by checking the required cost information and assists with early-stage advice, feasibility input, benchmark checks and pre-concept cost planning.

The Senior Manager tracks scope and cost movement, identifies material risks and changes, and escalates them for management review.

The work includes:

• consultant mobilisation and performance monitoring
• review packs
• governance papers
• dashboards
• trackers

Applicants need a degree in quantity surveying, construction economics, commercial management, civil engineering, engineering or a related discipline. The posting requires at least 12 years of relevant experience in cost planning, quantity surveying, estimating, pre-contract commercial management or development cost management, with experience of large-scale development or infrastructure projects preferred.

It also refers to professional membership, or active progress towards it, with RICS, AIQS or an equivalent body.
