What the role covers

A senior cost control post on a mixed-use development that brings together residential, commercial, hospitality, leisure and public realm elements, worked by an integrated multidisciplinary team. The holder oversees project delivery against time, budget and risk and leads project management from inception to completion, keeping delivery matched to what stakeholders have been told through clear communication. Safety and wellbeing are championed across the teams. The post supplies subject matter expertise to the employer's wider programmes, drives collaboration across the client, consultant and contractor teams, and manages programme integration across design, procurement and delivery. Strategic work including business development and commercial performance is led from this post, with senior stakeholders partnered so that outcomes can be influenced and good practice embedded. Teams are led and developed, and the holder carries the net zero carbon transition and the management of the associated emissions through the delivery work. The employer asks for a relevant degree or the equivalent, progress towards chartership with a recognised professional body and continuing professional development, and a minimum of twenty years of professional experience of which at least seven are in Saudi Arabia.
