Costain has won a range of work with Gatwick Airport Ltd and is building out its Gatwick Frameworks delivery team, where this quantity surveyor post sits. The schemes run from small works to larger projects, and the advert places the work at Gatwick with one day a week at the St Mary Axe office near Liverpool Street. The role provides commercial input across the framework projects and is responsible for seeing that every commercial activity follows the contract, company procedure and the expectations of the customer or contract leader. Named duties include the issue of accurate, timely and compliant notices and correspondence, the preparation and agreement of applications for payment, and working as part of an integrated delivery team. The postholder may work independently and reports into the commercial lead for the frameworks.
