BESIX Nederland is recruiting a Hoofd Planner, its lead planner, for ViA15, one of the larger Dutch road infrastructure schemes. The advert is written in Dutch and the employer requires fluent written and spoken Dutch and residence in the Netherlands. The role carries the integrated project programme, so that design, conditioning, procurement, construction and maintenance align with one another and the project is delivered to the agreed milestones. The duties listed are preparing, managing and updating the integrated programme at levels I to IV, monitoring milestones, dependencies and critical paths, identifying deviations, risks and opportunities within the programme, showing the effect of changes and of alternative scenarios, connecting the separate disciplines and sub-projects, and supporting decisions with clear programme information. The holder sits at the centre of the project team and answers for the coherence of the separate sub-programmes. The advert describes a monthly leading role in the project team's programme meeting, where the integrated programme, the interfaces between disciplines and the critical paths are discussed, with regular coordination with the other planners and the area leads. BESIX Nederland asks for degree level education, at least eight years of planning experience on infrastructure projects, experience of complex multidisciplinary project environments, and working knowledge of OPC, Risk Analysis and Turbo Chart.
