What the role covers

Linesight is recruiting a Scheduling Lead in Kansas City, Missouri. The post builds project schedules covering the full scope, milestones and timelines using critical path method, and defines ownership of project outcomes through a work breakdown structure. The schedule has to follow the project execution plan, and in particular the contracting, procurement and project control strategy documents. The post sets the method for baselining, manages periodic updates, and structures the integrated programme so that it can be reviewed at several levels of detail. The role negotiates timelines and interdependencies between project partners, reports on progress through analysis, runs interactive planning and pull planning sessions, attends risk analysis workshops and supports the quantitative risk assessment process. Resource loading is carried out where the project team requires it, and external schedules are reviewed against scheduling practice. Linesight asks for eight or more years of scheduling experience, demonstrated quantitative risk assessment work on life sciences or mission critical projects, a degree or comparable experience in project management or a construction discipline, and Primavera P6.
