What the role covers

A lead administration post on a large portfolio of roads infrastructure contracts, supporting Hill International's commercial and project delivery teams in Saudi Arabia. The work is the record and the process rather than the strategy: maintaining accurate contract registers, administering contractual correspondence, notices and approvals, and keeping contract documentation current and defensible. The holder monitors milestones, obligations and deliverables, and checks compliance with securities, warranties, guarantees and insurance requirements. Contract start-up, amendments, renewals, extensions and close-out are all coordinated from this post, and the holder acts as the first point of contact on administration matters across the project. Leadership is part of it: contracts administrators and support staff report to this role and are guided and mentored by it. Hill asks for a degree in quantity surveying, construction management, engineering, law or commerce, and at least fifteen years in contract administration, commercial management or contract management on major infrastructure or construction work, with a focus on roads or highways. Knowledge of FIDIC and other standard forms is required and membership of RICS, CIArb, CIPS or ICE is preferred. Oracle Unifier and SAP are named, and experience of giga-project or public sector governance is treated as an asset. The posting states a project duration of five months. No salary is published.
