Ledcor Industrial is recruiting a scheduler to build and control the integrated construction programme on industrial projects it values at between 50 million and one billion dollars. The work is Primavera P6 from early planning to close-out: setting construction logic and sequence with project managers, superintendents and engineers, then integrating engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning into one resource loaded and logic driven schedule. The posting asks for progress to be tracked against field productivity and constraints, for critical path activities and schedule risks to be identified, and for mitigation and recovery strategies to be put to the project. Change is part of the role: the scheduler evaluates the programme impact of scope changes and variations and maintains the baselines against which those impacts are measured. Field Installation Work Package planning, workface planning and constraint removal are tied to the master schedule, and the scheduler supports progress measurement, forecasting and earned value reporting alongside project controls. Ledcor self performs up to 90 per cent of the work, which the posting presents as giving planners direct sight of construction logic and real progress across piping, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, structural steel, concrete, civil works and commissioning.
