What the role covers

An associate director post in Abu Dhabi owning end to end cost management delivery on major programmes and acting as the principal client interface. The posting sets the work across the whole commission: feasibility, cost planning and procurement strategy before contract, then post-contract administration covering variance management, change control, cost checking and valuation, with monthly cost reports presented to the client. Procurement responsibility is stated in full, from pre-qualification and enquiry analysis through vendor selection to contract preparation, alongside value engineering and life cycle costing. The employer asks for MRICS with a minimum of ten years post-qualification experience and cost or commercial management gained on the consultancy or the client side.
