What the role covers
A senior consultant post in the employer's construction advisory practice, for a candidate continuing a career in engineering and construction with a focus on claims and dispute resolution, delay analysis, project advisory services, and construction planning and scheduling. The posting is aimed at a professional with knowledge or experience of contract and change order management, critical path scheduling analysis, and the review of drawings, specifications and other engineering and construction documents. Prior experience on active engineering or construction projects is described as highly preferred, as an alternative to experience in claims and dispute resolution, delay analysis, project advisory services and construction planning and scheduling. The required qualifications are eight or more years of forensic delay or planning experience in the construction and engineering industry, a recognised undergraduate degree in construction management, engineering, quantity surveying or similar from a leading university, and a minimum of five years of on-site construction experience with an engineering or construction firm. A postgraduate qualification in construction law or similar is described as desirable but not essential, and chartered professional status or the equivalent is desired. The posting was released in May 2026. No salary and no closing date are published.
