What the role covers

The employer is expanding its claims consultancy work and is recruiting at partner and associate level in quantum and delay, across its London, Birmingham, Leeds and Manchester offices. The work is claims consultancy and expert witness services on quantum and delay, together with technical and contractual advice. The holder formulates delay, quantum and commercial claim reports, working independently, with reasoned opinions based on contractual entitlement, moving towards negotiation and resolution or towards formal dispute resolution. Candidates must as a minimum be RICS or equivalent qualified, and an additional qualification in construction law is preferred. The posting asks for commercial management, claims and dispute resolution expertise, experience developing claim and dispute resolution strategies, and extensive knowledge of the NEC, JCT and FIDIC standard forms.
