Qiddiya is recruiting a Director, based in Riyadh, to lead cost planning for its General Business Unit across major commercial and mixed-use developments. The role sets and maintains the cost position for assigned projects, guides design-to-budget decisions and supports investment, procurement and Stage Gate approvals.

It directs the work of external cost consultants and reviews cost plans, reconciliations, benchmarks, escalation assumptions, risk allowances and phasing strategies before recommendations are made for endorsement. The Director establishes requirements for consultant deliverables, reporting and cost-planning assumptions, and provides assurance that information submitted for governance decisions is complete.

The post also leads cost-planning resources within the business unit and works with development, design, commercial, finance, procurement and project-management teams. Applicants need a degree in quantity surveying, construction economics, commercial management or a related discipline, with at least 15 years of relevant cost-planning or quantity-surveying experience on major developments. The posting also requires experience leading external cost consultants through design, procurement and delivery stages.
