Orascom Construction is recruiting a Cost Control Team Leader in Egypt. The post holder leads a team of senior cost controllers and cost controllers and supports them in the cost control, budget, cost plan, productivity, cash flow and analysis work delegated to them across a number of projects.

The team leader applies the company's project cost control procedures and manuals, reviews each project's budget and resources so that the original budget can be issued, and directs the team in reflecting changes in scope in the monthly current budget. Monthly cost reports and project cost plans are audited for major deviations, with recommended actions, and outstanding invoices are followed up with the parties concerned.

The role leads the preparation of project cash flows and their analysis, issues a monthly productivity report and helps the cost control manager to build the cost risk register.

The post holder provides and reviews the cost analysis needed for variation orders and claims, recommends cost mitigation measures to protect project profitability, leads the cost close-out report at the end of each project and reviews how efficiently project resources are used.

The posting asks for a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or commerce, nine years of related experience including at least five in management, very good English, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Oracle and Primavera. A PMP, PRMG or CCE certificate is preferred.
