Turner and Townsend is looking for an experienced Associate Director in cost management or quantity surveying to lead the delivery of cost management services across a portfolio of client accounts and capital projects in the Seattle region. The work spans commercial real estate, mixed use development, public sector schemes and infrastructure. The holder acts as adviser to clients and stakeholders on cost planning, procurement, commercial management, project controls and programme performance, and leads multidisciplinary teams so that the firm's practices are applied consistently across several engagements at once. The posting sets out a leadership role rather than a purely technical one: taking the lead in interfacing with clients, stakeholders and other consultants at every project stage, developing staff, growing client relationships, identifying new business and supporting the firm's expansion across the Pacific Northwest. Turner and Townsend asks for a bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying or engineering, with a graduate degree in one of those fields preferred, and a minimum of eight years in a cost management role in construction.
