The holder takes the commercial management of a designated workstream from procurement to final account, reviewing procurement strategies, tender documentation and package recommendations and giving commercial oversight of the contractor procurement activity. Commercial risk, value engineering opportunities and scope gaps are assessed from this post, which also manages contract administration support and commercial governance, reviews variations, change control and commercial reporting, supports stakeholder engagement across the client, consultants and contractors, carries cost management, forecasting and final account settlement, and mentors commercial managers in the wider team.
