Costain is working with Thames Water across water and wastewater schemes and is expanding its AMP8 delivery team, mainly in the Thames Valley and Thames South regions. This project quantity surveyor post covers the East Thames patch, taking in Hertfordshire, Essex and East London, on projects running from small capital maintenance to large civil new build. The postholder reports to the commercial manager and is responsible for seeing that the work is procured and delivered within budget and to the quality the client expects. The advert names leading the efficient issue of accurate, timely and compliant notices and correspondence, identifying contractual and commercial risk and opportunity to the project director or manager, and producing monthly progress valuations and claims for completed work inside the deadlines.
